As the answer to our customers’ demand Valeo continuously improves its product offer. This time Valeo introduces over 300 new products, including clutch sets and innovative Aquablade™ wipers.
Clutches and clutch sets
Elements of the drive train should be looked at carefully when analysing the products that entered the Valeo offer in May. Strong position of Valeo on the market among the OE clutch suppliers allows its engineers to constantly extend the aftermarket offer. This time new FullPack DMF sets (DMF and clutch) dedicated to popular VAG vehicles equipped with petrol engines were introduced. Owing to the acquisition of FTE in 2017 (the leader in the hydraulic clutch actuators) Valeo strengthened its aftermarket offer by clutch control systems. This time the range was supplied with the KIT3P CSC set (clutch + CSC) dedicated to the most popular Renault diesel models.

Aquablade™ wipers
Aquablade has been one of the most popular Valeo patents lately. Flat wipers featuring channels that distribute fluid through holes located along its entire length are a real best-seller on the OE market. Owing to this innovative method the Aquablade wipers clean 100% of the cleaning surface independent of the car speed. When it comes to traditional washer nozzles, they allow for the cleaning of only 20-30% of the said surface at higher speeds. It was proved that drivers using Aquablade wipers react to road situations 315 milliseconds faster. Is it enough? Needless to say that in the city conditions (50 km/h) the braking distance is then shorter by 4 metres, i.e. an average length of the zebra crossing.
The Aquablade wipers solution halves the amount of fluid used and those equipped with the heating option allow for an effective handling of frozen windshields in temperatures up to -20 degrees C.
Windshield cleaning systems available on the market
Innovative Aquablade wipers are already available on the aftermarket. The list of May novelties includes the references dedicated to Mercedes-Benz class SL, E, GLE/GLS and S cars. SWF Aquablade and Valeo Silencio Aquablade have also been available for some time for Volvo V60, XC60, as well as Ford S-Max and Galaxy.
